the new camaro is, simply put, blah. it's too big and bulky, it's gonna be a heavy bitch, the front and rear are all wrong and let's pray that they change the gauge clusters in the interior...
there's really nothing that special about the camaro, IMO. it's just that the automobile market today SUCKS. there is NO inspiration. there's nothing out there catching my eye. therefore, the camaro wins a top spot by default. it's not because the new camaro is nice, but because everything else out there blows.
the only car out right now that i truly like is the C6 corvette. that's a sweet ride. other than that, i really don't care for anything out there
i gave it a 7. much better than average, but still lacking the !WOW! factor. and once again, GM completely drops the ball with timing. the new camaro should be coming out at the end of this year for 2008. this further proves that GM is its own worst enemy. they better not screw this one up after all the time they're taking with it. this thing better come damn near perfect from the factory.

If you read up on info posted here, you'll see that is far from the truth.

Ya im really lovin that orange convertible. its an orgasm on wheels lol. Im just curious what the power to weight ratio is gonna be. It'll smoke ford for sure though, cause ...well.. i smoke fords Ya im a chevy fan and at first the camaro looked a bit odd to me but it grew on me and now i love it. The challenger looks pretty cool too but i dont like how the rear looks and also if dodge stays true it'll be one fat, heavy bitch rofl

I don't know how anyone can look at a car and know what the weight will be. Especially considering we haven't even seen the production model yet, and the concept is actually a shorter car.
Somehow, I doubt that the car will weigh much more than the fully loaded 4th gens did.

go see the transformers movie and tell me that the car is ugly. seeing it on the road, and racing around, and reving, and all that makes me want to buy one tomorrow. def check out the movie and see for yourself

Take a comparison look with the CIEN....The C6 also seems to borrow a few lines from the CIEN concept.

Who's giving this a 10? It's not a 10 come on! I gave it a 6 only because I think it's ok, maybe a little above ok. But it's nothing stand out, and it does look like a box. I guess stubborn people like me need some time to have the new design "wear in". I remember when the 4th gen came out, I hated it. I like much more nowadays, but it took some time for me to get over the 3rd gen (what I grew up with) and develop a fancy for the 4th gen.

I can't give the Concept version a 10 because of the wheels (I gave it a 9). The wheels suck, IMO. Way too big (diameter), and they should be high polished or chrome, IMO.

So all this sceptical talking that has been going on from some people, it's all BS because they would do exact same thing, test drive, boner and smile on the face done deal. Car is not out yet, noone tried it yet so don't be all so sure about not liking it just yet You never know!

I'm buying the first 6 cyl Camaro that hits the lot and pulling the powertrain from it. I'm installing the twin turbo alcohol motor and drivetrain from my IROC and I'm going Challenger hunting .
I gave the Camaro an 8, but I want one like it was a 12. The Camaro is my drug of choice and I can not say no to it .

I gave it a 10. I love retro. Its going back to its roots. Cars that stray from its name's root, like the Charger (now 4-door sedan), get no love from me. It pulls the retro cue off without being, no-balled cookie cutter styling of the mustang and chally. The sharp lines and perfect blend of the newest and the old is great. Plus after seeing the new transformers movie; the car in motion is eye candy. I hope this thing comes in bumblebee colors or electron blue.
