I actually enjoy the show most of the time. I don't have a problem with some of the American jokes they cook up, but they do drag it out a little too much sometimes. In moderation it's not hard to get a chuckle out of.

Some of you ppl are like a bunch of highschool girls. Have a sense of humor. We do the same thing to Europeans. Think of our comments about France pre-Iraq. We can dish it out but is seems you guys cannot take it. It is a show about cars...chill out it is all for fun.

Yes they do.. they will put a 'W' next to the time though to signify that the track was wet.

The Mitsubishi Evo FQ400 is only 1.6s behind the Z06 and i bet it cost a lot less too..

I'm not quite sure what 'a tuner car' actually means?? It could be bought from any Mitsubishi Ralliart dealer afaik.. So I dont know why that would not be classed as a car, or a bike with 4 wheels for that matter?

I prerecord the show on Dish Network. I find it pretty funny, and a car show my wife will actually watch. Though she likes SOME Lemans races. Watch the video were Hammond disses on the GT500 as he reviews it. He actually takes a magic marker and rights the dyno number over the 500 sticker. And said almost 500 hp. Not sure if he was just playing dumb about it being flywheel and rear hp. Not sure.

When they talked about the C6 Z06, he called the rest of the Vette past the boy band. And the C6 Z06 the lead who left the band or something.

But I still love the show and it has a really good camera crew.

I hate those guys, they complain about everything. the FQ400 review theyraced an economy car. WTF stupid *** comparisons. they go above and beyond to rip at things just like trolls. I do like watching 5th gear. they dont go out of their way to insult everything

5th Gear is full of win. I do enjoy watching Top Gear though. As far as which is coming to America, a 5th Gear ripoff with Jimmy Kimmel is coming to America.

Great show. I can't believe there isn't anything here that's even remotely close. 447rwhp for the GT500. LS3 will probably be an intake/muffler away from that figure. Manufacturers should give rwhp figures instead those imaginary flywheel numbers.

Clarkson annoys me with his anti-American rants sometimes, but I think part of that is Brit humor and done for the show. He did buy a Ford GT, afterall, and the only parts that didn't work on it were the ones added by the Europeans. Bad enough that he made Ford buy it back.

But what really irks me about him slamming the Camaro is all three of them have tested and loved the Holden Monaro. They've done several tests and Clarkson creams all over it every time. The Camaro is based on the VXR platform which is the same as the new Holden Commodore - the Monaro's replacement.

So if it's a got Holden or Vauxhall badge, he loves it, but if it's got a Bow Tie, it must stink - even if it's the same car.

Now Hamster, on the other hand, likes American muscle cars. He gets that they may not be as refined or handle as well as some euro-technoboxes, but there's more to the car than that. The drama, the passion that comes with the experience - he gets that.

Hammond also has a '67 Mustang GT 390. They had it on one of the shows.
