That being said, with the piston oil squirters you are putting in the block, you should be able to run a little more timing that without them as before. It will help but it might not be enough. With the nitrous, you probably only need a 150 shot to get you in the goal. BUT the big weakness that was way to common in the C5 forum and FI cars was that most people I saw were tapping in the engine's fuel system. Seriously a bad idea risking the lack of fuel support to the engine. I suspect that since it looks like you aren't cutting corners you will have a dedicated fuel system planned for the nitrous.

There are people that are having great success with FI and nitrous together. The ones I know have a dedicated fuel system. The FI IATs love the cryo effect. A 150 shot acts like a 175.
excellent post.
I have a dedicated system for the nitrous system along with the lingenfelter nitrous controller with timing retard. It also has port injected nitrous to eliminate distribution issues in the intake tract.

What size wheels are on the white car? This year the rules say if you have 17s you have to run in the unlimited class with the shop cars

Banana Ray - what transmission are you running? Trans brake?

I want to spray my turbo but have been warned. I will see how the turbo and new engine makes power and see where we go.

Very nice build

hi don:
I use the factory fuel tank for the engine and a dedicated fuel system for the nitrous.

Are you going to run low or high pressure fuel for the nitrous? What fuel pressure?

Is there another regulator under the hood for the nitrous or just the one in the trunk?

Ya, with a big shot you want the regulator under the hood. In the back you still risk starving the fuel line going up there. 1 blip and it get be bad.
