Default Goin for the n/a record this wkend.

Should easily break the posted record on C5. Looks like it's going to be warmer then I expected, but I think I'll have enough.

Good luck. I would still love to know how you got the race weight down that low.

Unfortunately we had 25mph headwinds all weekend and low pressure thanks to the hurricane. They were also only running 1/8 mile. What a dud. Will give it another go at the mce track day on nov 16, when there WILL be 1/4 racing. Stay tuned.

Also, the car did
60' 1.507
1/8 6.70
1/8 mph 102.32

1870ft da

Very promising, hooks and goes. With killer da to come later this year it's going to do work and run some numbers.

Good run none the less especially considering the weather conditions.

What's the current record?

Looks like you would have run 10.30-10.5? Nice.

10.47 or something like that I think. I was thinking a low 10 based on current weather. Should see some negative DA next month. Things will get interesting. Might have to throw more wallet at the car to go faster then 10.0, but I'm going to do my best. It's misleading 1/8 times, because I ran 6.9 in the 1/8 and ran 10.8 in the quarter, BUT that was before the gear swap. Now I end up shifting to third right before the 1/8 which is a waste (for the 1/8 ET) but run that gear out just past the 1/4 now. Shame they werent running the whole track. MCE track day is Nov 17. We will see then. Did get a cool photo plaque

Nice.

Hey I had a weight reduction question, for the Braille battery did you have to get anything special for the posts and are you using one that has the positive on the right side?

Did some ghetto cutting to the hold-down and used the tire inflator canister foam to make a nice packaging for it. Sophisticated, I know. It's a 2317 braille.

No problem. I've been pleasantly surprised with it to be honest. Dont want to spend the coin for a lithium battery. This little braille has no problem with my hi comp 429, and the car sits often for weeks at a time.
