Default who out there has hit 11's with their showroom stock ZL1?

As the title states, who has hit 11s with their showroom stock ZL1?

How about stock on DR's too? Did you do that with an automatic or manual?

I havent really been paying much attention lately. However, im tired of hearing my ford fanboy friends talk about how much quicker the 2013 GT500 is than the ZL1 at the strip. I'd like to be able to defend the ZL1 with factual info, preferbly something i can link them to lol. Thanks!

So far I found a video on youtube where both manual and auto ZL1's went 11.9's on a nitto drag radial.

I guess nobody from LS1tech has ran 11s bonestock on street tires or drag radials? so much for defending the ZL1 lol

oh cool. what'd ya run? have any video? I believe you, Its just that Ive only seen like 2 videos of them running 11s on DR's. not sure what the DA was on those passes either. This one guy ran 12.8 @ 110 at our local track.. guess he's still in the learning process of driving his car lol

Edit: I didn't see he had pulley swap, headers, custom tune and other things - so not stock.

Someone posted on Camaro5 about hitting 11.8 with DR's

Ron, that's because the guy in the ZL1 at atco was a shitty driver and probably had all the traction nannies on...

i feel it'll be really easy for a ZL1 to hit 11's at atco in the later part of the year with a good DA and some nice, sticky tires. But man, those GT500s are pretty damn quick.

haha yeah i heard all about his "skills" lol. I agree with ya steve. I hope to see some ZL1's out there in the cooler months with driver mod

I have videos on youtube under my name here. I was 11.9x with factory tires and a cooldown and 11.8x with DRs hot lapping with shitty mph. I stopped posting about it because all the Ford dicks were giving me crap so I just keep it off the forums. If I tried hard this winter Im sure it will run mid 11s on DRs.

thanx for the youtube link and videos. 11s with a car thats heavier than the 13' gt500 and with 100 less rwhp; yet the ford fanboys still talk about their 03 cobra and how 1200bucks will make it run so much faster than the ZL1 thats ricer talk right there lol

The ZL-1 is really detuned, it won't take much to make it a 10.90 car. The most impressive thing is how it is SO different from an SS model. Just an amazing car in every way.

I noticed the thing with the ford dicks, especially this one guy. I swear he trolls all the GM videos and talks ****. Guess he has nothing better to do with his life lol. keep up the good work with your driving. let us know how you do once its 40 degrees out
