More body parts coming in today and going to paint tomorrow

This is one of the reasons that your stock SS makes more than a legal race car. We have to breathe through a 1.6" hole as the series legal restrictor.

We are however using parts of our G5 Velocity Cold air intake!!!

Progress over the weekend.

Body work is still in paint. Wiring harness is still going in the car as well as final fluid lines.

Interior panels are installed as is some of the lexan glass work.

New presents from StopTech arrived this morning for the Camaro.

This is the ST40R Trophy caliper. As you can see they are hard anodized, not powder coated like most of their calipers. More machine work is done to the caliper to remove weight, and add strength in other areas. This version of the Trophy also does not include dust boots as they would be burnt out of the car in the first session.

Thanks for sharing pictures of the process, unbelievable how small that intake restrictor is, that really has to kill performance.

They make less than a stock SS if that tells you anything.

Going testing today for the first shake down.

As you can see the paint is not finished yet, but we should have some great data back from the car by the end of the day!
