LG Motorsports is about to begin on a 2012/2013 SCCA World Challenge Camaro build.

This is a full build layout of a Pro Level World Challenge Camaro race car. While some of the more 'trick' items will not be shown in detail we are going to give you a very in-depth look behind 'locked doors' of how a Camaro goes from the street to the track.

Chassis going into the paint booth last night.

 

The car is going into the SCCA GTS class in the World Challenge series this year.

 

Frame, underhood, and interior now finished in our traditional red! Exterior coming next!

 

Unibody back from paint today.

 

Updates for 1-15-13

Front subframe, dash, seat, wiper assembly, wiper cowl going on.

Fire system is starting to be ran on the car and close outs for the dry sump tank.

Front suspension starting to go together. Featuring LG Motorsports G5 Sway bar kit, HD end links. Look for some new products coming in the next few days from this build as well!

Rear Suspension cradle and huge 35mm LG rear sway bar

 

Rear bumper is being fitted now, and wing mounts are soon to go on. Rear suspension is coming together nicely.




Front nose going on, splitter is being constructed as well as brake and radiator ducting.

 

Progress is moving forward.

Legal engine is now in the car and being plumbed in. Wiring harness is going in as are the hard brake lines and ABS box.

 

It wouldn't be complete without our ZR28 Carbon hood!!

Doing something a little different with the wheels this year. As the car will wear the traditional flame paint job we are going to be using a yellow front wheel and black rear for a bit more added color to the car.
