What Size Drag Wheels & Tires for the 2010?
#61
As of right now Bogarts are the only true 17 inch wheels that will clear. CCW has not been able to confirm that there 17 inch Classic's will clear without modifications because they still need to test fit an SS which I have been patiently waiting for them to do, they keep telling me soon but it's been almost three weeks now and still getting the same answers soon. So I'm pretty much sold on Bogarts. Sorry CCW but you just lost a potential buyer and Bogarts customer service is much better

Hang tight guys we're working on doing some fitment testing right now. In about 2 weeks I should have a awesome option for both v6 & v8 brake guys. 17" or 18" wheels for v8 brakes, and who knows maybe a 15" option for the v6 brakes!!

Jason you come up with a way to put a 15 inch wheel on the back of the 5th gen car, and say a 17 inch weld wheel on a 5th gen you'll sell a million dollars worth of it in the next 2 years, whatever parts are needed. That I'm sure of.
Find a way to put a solid axle in the back at the same time, and I bet you sell 10 times more of it.

We ordered Bogarts for a 2010 camaro. We used the M&H 325/45/17's and they fit perfectly.................I have the 275/50/17's on my car with 9.5" wheels and they run a little narrow even on those wheels, so the 325's are a perfect tire for the bogarts
We had the M&H front runners , but it really look bad being a short tire...........we took those off and are now running some michelin tires that are 27" tall. They are deff a heavier tire, but they look and ride a lot better.

Will the 17" Racestar's fit? I saw a SRT-8 owner running them with his big Brembo's and 17" Bogart's fit so maybe these will also?
Has anybody done a braking test when swapping over to the V6 brakes. I ask this because there is no improvement in the 60-0 braking distance on a stock GT500 with its tiny rear brakes vs swapping it to the Bear 6s that's used in the Supersnakes. Sure the 6s is better at road racing all day but it shouldn't matter in spirited driving or the occasional track day, because the 2011 GT500 seems to do just fine with its tiny rear brakes.

Weld 17" RT-S wheels will fit. If you have the front roller skate brake pads, they will have to be cut or changed. Likewise, if you are lowered, you will need BMR Adjustable LCAs to prevent rub or prepare for some LCA modification. Brake lines will need to be tied back as well.
