Default SS with upgrades or 1LE package??

Been looking more into the NBS camaros, Im torn between buying a used one for around 25K or biting the bullet and buying a new 1LE... It will mainly be a street car but i have looked into doing track days and there's a few tracks that are close. Im not interested in beating any other cars on the road or parking lot pimping... I like to drive FM roads and have a good time. Ive got my cbr 1000rr for going "fast" so the camaro will be my "family fun/ travel" car. As far as mods Id leave the 1LE mostly stock but the SS would get some carbon fiber parts hood/ truck/etc and suspension upgrades Lowering springs/ frame connectors etc... Im just curious to see which way might be the best way to go... Feel free to input!!! Thanks

Used SS and some 1LE suspension bits is certainly the best bang for the buck

I would do the used SS too. In fact I did. Get aftermarket parts with Polly bushings and replace the other bushings with poly units and call it a day. The only advantage the 1LE will have then is the 3:90 geared rearend. I have seen the GM ring and pinion sets selling for $250 or you could go after market 4:11s if you have the coin.

the 1le sway bars are smaller than ones available from aftermarket tho... im curious to know which ones are better... aftermarket companies should do more test videos... ive seen a few out there but there arent that many... id guess they have too many vehicles to test...

I would go with the aftermarket pieces. Just by virtue of being lower volume of production the quality is generally better.

i like the look of the granatelli 1G bracing bolt on kits. i think that would be a given on the 1le or a SS.
