Have you guys read up on what some mustang owners are saying........ It sounds like they are getting ready for the ravaging without the lube.

lmao
did we act like jealous babies when the retro-stang came out? I hope not.
love the comment about no trim level like the gt500 ... all I gotta say is add a turbo/sc and it's game over for ford's top pony
should make things interesting ... figured the challenger would already have them worried ... now they should be scared
edit: someone posted about the "stacked gauges" ... typical fanboy I'm guessing, has a newer stang and knows nothing about older cars at all

Typical fanboys. If anything, they should want the Camaro to succeed since it will make Ford build a more powerful Mustang.
For awhile I was blind like them and brand loyal. I like everything fast, they're just hating on it because it's not a Ford. Take it as a compliment.
I think it's funny that they compare the price beween the SS and the GT but they aren't too far apart. Hell m friend paid like 31-32K for a loaded GT minus Navi and HIDs with 100 less HP......

I would not go as far as saying they are getting "scared" most of them seem to like the car....which is a good thing. Sure there going to show the GT being cheaper...duh...
Let's not get ahead of ourselves here I mean the 2010 Mustang as we all know is getting engine upgrades both V6 and GT. Oh and I doubt a stock 10 Camaro will take the current GTs....same hp but the GT is a V8 and not as heavy as the camaro so dunno about that...but still close.

I've raced newer Mustang GT's in my wife's 2008 Caddy CTS. It has the same 3.6L DI engine the V6 Camaro will get. It also weighs more than the Camaro does.
It was a very close race, the Mustangs did not pull on the Caddy. Gearing can make up for torque off the line, and those 3.6L with the 6-spd auto are very aggressive off the line.
FWIW, we also owned a 2005 GT and that thing was a torqueless turd. The CTS is actually more enjoyable to drive.

My best friend has a 2005 Roush, and another friend of mine has an 01 Buillitt.
We give each other a hard time and have some laughs at each other's cars, but in the end we each respect each other's cars and what they represent.
Ideally I'd like to see the Camaro, Mustang, and Challenger succede. Having these three cars in the mix for a while will only lead to one thing...Escalation!!

thats in "denile" The nile river...
anyways Im surprised that most of those guys were positive about it and actually talking about purchasing it. To me those are some good guys that can look at what is on the table, not just a different brand. But they will be unpleasantly surprised when the v6 is on the road.
