I like the front end and interior. Don't really care for the rear end though. As far as the engine, all along they have stated that it would use carry over engines the first year so not sure why everyone is surpised about that. I'd still expect something new for 2011.

epic fail. interior though improved, the camaro shines over it. exterior dont like it, shouldnt have touched it. should have done something w/ those side vent thingy's theyre trying to simulate. and 315hp, not good. I wonder how much weight gain it got with the new interior, also added safety features as well. is it in the 3600+ mark now.

I think they went in the wrong direction with this car...it looks worse now. The front end is ugly and the rear end is even uglier. The brake lights aren't too bad, but the molding of the rear end is just a complete disappointment to me haha. Interior isn't bad at all (if that's what it will look like in the production models), and the light up door sills are a cool idea, but i'm iffy on the look...they may be a bit too rice-ish

I think I read somewhere today that the cars weight actually only went up 15 pounds.
Still, that's a pound per HP. :-p

The wheels and rearend are pretty fugly. I honeslty don't know what they were thinking with the backend retyle.......it just looks like someone melted down the current car's backside. The front end looks better than I thought it would......bit more modern and aggressive. The interior is awesome, better quality materials and more tech'ish without going overboard (wonder if I can do an interior swap for my 05
?)
And it had been said that the new motor lineup would not make it into the 2010's, so it looks now like we have to wait almost another year to find out what Ford plans to do to make the new Mustang more performance worthy. I agree with many here, its time for Ford to bless the GT with six gears. The solid rear, I can live with (especially if it keeps the car's weight down). And while I'd like to see a 400hp model out there to compete with GM's and Dodge's new arrivals....I wouldn't mind a 350-370hp GT if it means Ford will keep the price tag under 30K.

With the 315 Hp and a 150 pound weight advantage the GT will be able to stay ahead of the base V6 Camaro, it just should be able to put out a whole lot more for a performance version of the Mustang. If one were to take the savings from the purchase of the V6 Camaro over the Mustang GT and put that into a supercharger set up.......that would make for one dead horse. The Mustang with true 400hp and 3600 to 3700 lbs (which the true weight of the GT) would be a great runner for the SS and Challenger R/T. With 350 hp then we are back to a drivers race.

You might as well start pushing the same nonsense argument against the 03-04 Cobras........cuz Ford made fewer of them than they already have the GT500.
