Thumbs up

I like it.
I still like the motor and drivetrain of the new Camaro more though.

Mustang, Camaro, Challenger...this are awesome times.

I dont see enough changes to really make a big hoopla over. I like the change in the grille but the rest of it looks the same IMO.
Hope they have better luck with the changes:
I know a dealer in FL that as of last week still had 7 left over GTs and they are offering them up for $23K out the door.

Here's one from AOL: http://autos.aol.com/article/ford/_a...17101209990002

Nice attempt, Ford. Nice attempt.

EDIT:
I also noticed that the GT has a five speed manual in the interior pictures.

its not hideous, but they really didnt change too much. front clip and hood are a little diff, but still looks almost exactly like the previous model. bump in horse power of like 15, bringing it up to a whopping 315

looks like the mustang will be able to keep its crown as the cheapest/lowest performing muscle car. but hey, as long as it sells right

Interior blows the camaro's away, assuming those are production pics and not one-off show special jobs.

Looks better than the current model, but not as much of a change as I expected. The wheels are ugly, but the interior is much improved. And it's about time the GT was given 6 gears. What's up with the carry over engine? I thought it was supposed to have 400hp? I'm sure it will sell well, but I'll stick to my Camaro.

thats great, Ford has massaged their V8 so the Camaro's V6 didn't make it look dumb...but to me still did not accomplish that! So what did they do, tune it? Bigger TB? Wow...15 whole hp. Way to go big blue........

Gorgeous car as always...but, that is a lot of money for last generations HP and TQ. WTF. And does it have a 5 or a 6 speed? I have seen both...the five speed is always the biggest complaint I have on the Mustang.

The Camaro's interior looks a lot better.

Plus, I remember old commercials of them bragging the current GT could go 0-60 in under five seconds.

How come Ford can take a good looking car and ugly it up. The front bumper looks like a bottom lip sticking out, like Bubba in the movie Forest Gump. The back looks like the current car got some hooked under its rear valance while driving away, it looks like is has been yanked out. Man whoever did this update could f-up a 2 man parade. The interior is an improvement but not much of one. I will always be a fan of the current car.

Nothing wrong with a new mustang. As long as someone is producing RWD v8 cars I'll be a happy man.
