Speaking of brilliant thinking GM just announced they disbanded their group of high performance vehicle engineers, PVO. The people behind the hot versions of all of GM's products.
It looks like there won't be a Z/28 afterall. And no more SS Chevrolets after the current models are done. No more V Cadillacs either.

I dont buy it. That is there main steam. The Cobalt SS alone sell a ton. It would be the dumbest thing GM could do and thats why I dont see it happening. Besides, GM will be in the spotlight for a while. If this were true some major news station would report on it.

GM already has the new CTS-V complete. I Really can't imagine it being so different from the CTS Coupe that they it would cost anything more really.
