The intake netted a gain of 20 HP / 27 TQ around 4k RPMs, and a peak gain of 18 HP /19 TQ on our project car but keep in mind that the biggest gains will be seen in real driving situations as this is a ram air intake catching the air entering from the grille. also keep in mind that those numbers are UNTUNED. HOPEFULLY (weather permitting) we should have some track results to post in here as well after tonight!
The following pictures are the prototype we made, the final product will be similar but will have a nicer finish and will be powdercoated Gunmetal and Black. as soon as we get the first batch I will host the pictures.

That looks like a nice setup. Can we have some shots from the front-maybe through the grill-to see the airflow path? I don't have a car but it almost looks like you could utilize the mail slot with that intake??

That was for the LS3, through the manual trans. These graphs look like they are for the 400hp L99, which seem to be dynoing around 320 rwhp through the A6.

i didnt realize the auto and the L99 dynoed that low. I know hp isnt everything but the auto L99 car is factory tested to be about the same if not faster in the 1/4 then a m6.

List updated and here is our track result!
At idle, the iat's are higher than ambient, but exactly the same as the stock induction system reads. At pretty much any driving speed, the iat (intake air temperature for those that don't know) readings are exactly ambient to the outside air. Plastic is cheap and flimsy and it is still going to get hot and heatsoak, yeah we could build something like that but chose not too, we wanted this to be unique. When you see the production powdercoated pics, it is really going to set it off as far as the appearance goes.
I don't know about modifying it to work with the TVS supercharger until we try it or someone else does. No, this is not our intention with our project car, headers and camshaft are next.
Also, I went to the track last night to test it with the transmission tune in as well, here is my best time:
60 foot - 1.943
1/8 - 8.41
mph - 84.8
1/4 - 12.98
mph - 108.1
Also, I made 3 passes due to the fact that it was pretty busy, and every pass was a 1.9 60 foot time compared to stock, every pass was a 2.05-2.1 60 foot time. If you look at the dyno graph you can see the huge gain in torque in the lower end to mid range, I am sure this decrease in the 60 foot time is due to this intake making such a big jump in torque there, you can really feel the difference in the mid range quite a bit. I see no problem running a 12.7 @109-110 mph in better air right now with just the intake and trans tune.
The air was terrible last night due to the high humidity so I know the car will go faster than that with just these mods, but it is time for us to carry on with more mods now.
The last time I was at the track I ran a best time of 13.38 @ 104 mph with a 2.017 60 foot time in better air completely stock.

The 13.3 @ 104 stock, to a 12.98 @108 with just the OTR intake and a trans tune. really shows how this intake works better on the car racing at speed, then just a open cone sucking under hood air. If you just look at dyno numbers, that have the hood open with the car not moving at high speeds. I was there, and raced might on time that night my car was only trapping 119-120 121 if I blew the tires off were last week and all last year it was going 121-123s

I saw some of the production ones being made at the shop the other day. Nicks welding looks like a robot made them. They all looked REALLY nice, and soild. Not cheap or anything like if it was plastic. Shawn you guys should pout some some real pics, that was a test one still.
