Fans and customers our Ride of The Week is back! Ryan Stevens out at Gwatney Performance Innovation has one nasty Gen 5 Camaro!


Here's the breakdown on Ryan's build:
417 built by Ryan himself in house. K1 Technologies crank, Callies Performance Products rods, MAHLE Pistons. Frankenstein Engineering Dynamics LLC LS3 8216 casted heads. Equipped with ls9 titanium intake valves, Ferrea Racing Components stainless exhaust valves, PAC Racing Springs, T & D rockers. Custom low ...lash roller. Edelbrock Performance Super Vic intake, 4500 throttle body, with a drive by wire setup fabbed by Ryan and crew. He also has #4 of 4 of the COPO shootout airbox built by VaraRam INDUSTRIES.


6L80 trans built by Ryan himself, Circle D Specialties 5c converter, 3.91 gears.


Reigning gen5 stock bottom end N/A record holder, and overall N/A record holder #StreetCar.

Ryan ran a 10.33 @ 131 while maintaining SBE. With the above mentioned setup SO FAR, he has been 10.08 @ 134. He is still running the original Frankenstein Stage 1 LS3 heads as well!

I think the title of your post is misleading. You didn't mention a single thing about his stock bottom end or what he has done with it.

My apologies JoeNova, I should have been more specific. Ryan's quickest SBE pass was 10.33 @ 131 mph. VVT cam equipped, bolt-ons, ported Frankenstein LS3 heads, ported intake, gears, and converter.


His NEW setup is what is mentioned above, which has now gone 10.08 @ 134.
