I'm not sold on it yet.
If it gets the LS2 thats awesome.

Looks i'm just mixed on because we all know it'll be toned down.

I guess I am the only one who thinks it looks like a new and improved MUSTANG.

If it looks like the concept, and is powered like the concept (400hp or better LS2) then I'm all over it. I hope that a 6-speed auto makes it's way into that car as the optional auto trans.

I think it looks pretty hot!! I'd like to see two or three V-8 engines combinations If the horsepower and the price have a wider range it may make it easier for younger buyers to
get in the market. The idea is to sell units. Enough sold and GM will keep it in production.
Then the real hot rodders can spend the big money to modify it the way they want it!!!!!

Sorry, but I respectfully disagree. Don't get me wrong because it does look even better than the Mustang, like the next generation Mustang. Similar to what GM did with the C5 Vette vs. C6, not revolutionary, but evolutionary.

Like they had improved on the Mustand design, but instead of it being Ford designers that did the improving, it was GM that did it before Ford had the chance to. Nevertheless, I like it.

I think it is a real nice looking car...I do see the resemblance to the mustang on the side skirts.

I'll take a Black 6sd w/ highest poweplant option right now.

Hey GM: Obviously, having thousands and thousands of people shouting, take my money doesn't happen very often. I would find a way to oblige the faithfull ASAP.

The only thing that is similar is the side flares. Atleast the new camaro doesnt look exactly like its first gen, it just has cues. The mustang on the other hand just copied the old style almost exactly, they didnt get too creative. Same goes for the new challenger.

The pictures do not do the car justice. In person it looks nothing like the Mustang. At All. Period. End of argument. Oh, and the Camaro has a soul - the Mustang a copy of an old design with smoother edges -been done, souless rental car fodder.

OMG im already saving for one, even though im a poor college student. What a graduation present that would be..cough cough parents are you reading cough cough? ha. But seriously I was starting to loose faith in GM, with their financial issues and sadly excuses of using the historic "SS" name for SUVs and 4 bangers. But they won me back with this design, part retro, part new...I dont know how any Camaro addict can hate this design.

ps..Im having trouble leaving the computer...I keep staring and looking through the new Camaro galleries, anybody else sharing this dilemma?

For the comment earlier about GM makeing the SS badge not significant to performance what would you say about the Imala SS or Montecarlo SS with the LS4 or the trailblazer SS sporting a 6.0 oh or how about the cobalt SS with a SUPERCHARGED 4 banger oh and lets not forget the silverado SS AWD 6.0 and the new concept Colorado SS with the LS2 hmm sounds like SS=Performace if u ask me and GM has all but done away with the Z line it went away with the 90's early 00's such as Cavalier Z24, MC Z34, Z28, Beretta Z26 and those all ment performance not one of those other than the camaro offerd a package specific engine

Yes, I will own one, but I will be waiting as long as it takes to get an SS model. I would take a Z28 too, but prefer the SS.

As for the people that are liking the LS2 in them... If its 2008-9 I do not want an LS2 in my car. I would hope the LS7 would be in order at the time of production release.
