ls9 supercharged camaro
the camaro wont ever come stock with a power adder. plain and simple. the corvette might just because it is supposed to be the pinnacle of chevrolets technology, like with the DOHC LT-5, but i dont see the camaro getting a DOHC engine or a power adder anytime in the future.

in the article it didn't say anything about the camaro getting the 900hp motor..it said the camaro may get the LS7 or LS9 then it said that they ran into a racer at the NHRA racers shop and the racer had a set of "gargantuan" LS style heads and when they asked him about it he said he was working on some LS8 stuff for GM and he had some preliminary castings..supposedly the block had a 4.3 inch bore and was set up for a 4.4 inch stroke which would mean it had a displacement of 511 cubic inches..then the racer said the setup could make an easy 900 hp then the racer mentioned this block may become available through GMPP. Then the racer said he doesn't get parts unless they are actually gonna do something with them..it never said the camaro would get this motor..lol. It also talks about a few truck engines that are supposed to come out as well

The next top engine may very well be a blown 6.2 thanks to the GT500.

From what ive read the said they already have aforced induction version of the Z06 Called the (blue devil)AKA new zr1 Gm has already tried 2 dif power plants for the car 1 was a twin turbo version that made An est 1000hp that the turbos got so hot that they melted body panels And a Sc version that over the 600 mark

thanks cali ss for reading closley what the article said 900 hp supercharged ls9 never know look at new z06 vette maybe can it can happen I hope I will add new camaro to the toy box no matter what motor . cant wait till it comes out I think the second year will be better than first year out .thanks for replys guys

One day GM will make a 900HP car. Not in the next couple of decades...but in the future I am sure it will. I can see it now...Mid Mounted, AWD, 9 speed sequential paddles...Corvette.

i'm waiting for the govt to put a limit on the power a car can make from the factory, or how fast it can be, or how quickly it can accelerate, because too many idiots out there will borrow a car like this from their rich uncle and end up wrapped around a tree.
