The car generated more buzz than any GM car in the last 20 years, they're working on it as if it were an approved product, and a GM exec was quoted as saying "they'd have to be braindead" not to build it.
It's gonna get built.
i read it in a magazine, i dont remember which one but they said that GM isnt sure if there going to produce for some odd reason i dont remember, iwas even talking to some friends about it and they heard the same thing. im not saying there for sure not going to build it im just telling u what i heard.

The real story on those magazines... they jumped the gun... there has not been any official confirmation of production as of yet, but it's speculated that it will be coming shortly. GM had some other issues to deal with (read: Delphi) before they could formally commit, but the Camaro team is working on the car as if it were approved. There's really not much question at this point that it's going to be, it just has not happened quite yet.

My best friend just got a card in the mail from GM about the upcoming zo7- supercharged. and in the card it said the camaro will be out in late 08 as a 09 model. I am gonna have him fax it to me or have him get on here and scan it. I don't know if its true or not, but I would still bet that is when they are planning on coming out with them.

Definitely post it, I doubt that its from GM seeing as neither of those cars have been confirmed yet.
Also, car mags are useless for information anymore, it's been YEARS since I've read a reliable article in a magazine that was related to future vehicles.

i don't think there's a car out there in production right now i like. if a new generation of f-bodies (though they won't be f-bodies anymore...) doesn't come out, i don't know what i'm gonna do after my car gets up in age. i'd hate to buy a ford taurus or something...
