Despite what all these uninformed jackasses (especially OctaneZ28) say, GM will NOT offer the new Camaro with an automatic trasmission.
Insiders quote a well-known top GM executive as saying, "99.9 percent of the driving population can go screw themselves. If you can't drive a stick, you can't buy a new Camaro. I don't care if we only sell 15,000 new units. It's not like our company is in financial trouble or anything."

I think the next line in that press release was "We are aiming for the 2% market of ls1tech owners and out of that 2% only 4% of that might even buy the car, so just to be safe it's coming to your door with a forged LS7 and a blower for 25K, with a 9" rear end."

Yes both a auto and a standard shift availabe, with a choice of two V6's and two V8's, and a 6.2 Litre V8 for the Z28 with a supercharged V8 that is suppose to produce 550hp
