Whose been saving?
I intend on having a paid off Camaro to enjoy.
I'm I just not passionate enough?
Best of luck to all who are getting one right off the line.

i like the powertrain.. while its not set in stone, GM powertrain has yet to disappoint me the last decade... i like where things are going, and im confident in them.
i want a new car. Something nice, a convertible, with power, and comfort...
i like how it looks...
i'll be getting the second year of it, when the verts come out...
this means, worse case, it sucks, and i will have saved several thousand dollars over the last couple years, and end up getting a diffrent car... or a house, or something.
but the goal right now looks very attainable. ive done things like this before, where i save over time... when i was a pre-teen, it was for a dirtbike that i finally got when i was 15.. after that it was for my first camaro.. after that my first streetbike... then a few years ago i saved for a year and drove a tercel to speed up my LS1->3rdgen vert swap.
so i have confidence in my ability to save for something i really want.. now when i get there, if it sucks, oh well... the pain of driving an S10 (or whatever) for however long, disappears quickly into the past....
besides, if i really dont like it, i can get a couple year old 07 C6..

Best of luck, i'm getting a house now so I can't even afford headers let alone a new camaro lol!
Hope it works for you.

Looking forward to my GMMG 2010 Convertible
I am currently driving a 2001 Grand Cherokee that I do not like driving. I am saving money and clearing up all of my debt. Part of the reason for this is to purchase a new Camaro IF they are what I want them to be.
If this F*#$%&G thing weights one OUNCE over 3,500lbs I'll be pissed! If I wanted a near two ton vehicle I'd just get a TB SS....

i concur.
My Ranger should be good for $4000 or so difference in what I'll owe then and what it's worth, maybe a little more, plus whatever cash I'll have by then. Plus my stepdad said he'll help me out some, as a gift for getting into UCF (which will happen about that time too... damn community college lol).
