Technically Saleen changes enough that he is recognized as a manufacturer. He got this status before he built the supercar. I personally don't think he deserves that title by modifying Mustangs but the government thought that he did. Just to add I don't think he should be allowed anywhere near a Camaro even before his comments. Bring back a name that would enhance the heritage of the Camaro.

IMO they should go with Yenko or Lingenfelter. Somebody whose name is already associated with GM. F@ck Saleen and his mustangs. Hell i wouldn`t even mind seeing a special edition Foose Camaro. Just my .02 though.

Their stuff is overpriced for what you get out of it IMHO.
Seriously, how many people on LS1TECH do you see with anything other than slp's loudmouth system?? Almost no one has their headers. Few people on here seem to buy their engine packages. There are more cost effective way to upgrade a F-body rather than blindly buy SLP stuff. Do you really think a SS or Firehawk was superior to a T/A, Formula, WS6 or Z-28? I don't.
And Saleen is a tool if he hopes to win over the Camaro loyalists after comments as far off as those made in the video. Douchebag. Don't know how many times I've ran down one of his blue oval pony cars.

Why don't you ask your customers about their humbling after they've gotten their cars from your Irvine Store? I know a few F-bodies that prowl around that area looking for a yuppie in a Saleen.

Lingenfelter is to expensive, but they do need to stick to a higher-end company or just do their own performance pack...

I am so tired of Saleen talking trash about GM and it will be a cold day in H*** before I see a sticker and go gah package from them, as for SLP I am very upset with them selling out to a ford model (coming from a guy who bought slp stuff and has a SLP camaro 02). They could of waited and spend time with GM models SSR,H2,H3,SS silverado conversions,Pontiac,cadillac,heck even 4 or 6cylinders till the right time came to make a come back. I will want to see the Z28 as the ultimate upgrade to the camaro............come on lets bring 1969 back!!! Dodge nor Ford could touch us on the track....! As for Supercar Copo,yenko,foose(becuase his favorite car is a GM),Katech, and Lingenfilter.....!

and steve saleen is a douchbag, and the only reason his cars are fast is the supercharger... give me a n/a mustang and i will eat that bitch alive. with my 10 year old what, CAMARO SS. wich they just need to leave the same, SS call the top of the line model that. yenko would be nice, so would lingafelter, but why not just give it the same engine as the ctsv is going to have when it comes out... a detuned z06 motor. dammit i just came everywhere thinking about it...

I have personally talked to engineers at Saleen and say for sure.......NO Saleen Camaro, they just did work on the movie car that is all.
Yenko would be cool, but one small problem....Don Yenko is dead, so how someone would get the rights to use the name could be tough. Baldwin-Motion is still going though.......
