There was a C5 Drivetrain mule in the Corvette Museum, the Cormaro. I saw it when I went to the museum in '98. Best looking car in the Museum. It was a black LT1 style Camaro (which admittedly I am a bit partial towards), the hood was modified with a bolted on small bulge on the front (for the air intake), and the rear floor was hacked up and covered with sheet metal to make room for the IRS and transmission (a very large hump in the back). I took a few pictures, but I'd have to find them again. It certainly wasn't "pretty" to look at... much like the "mule" in the blog here. But it did its job, and served its purpose.

They DID have leaf spring suspensions though, It'd be funny to see it on a lowered datsun!

Later this month Holden begins exporting Commodore sedans to the US. Mr Hyde says this export deal may not have happened if not for the Monaro.
Holden's next project is a new version of the Chevrolet Camaro, to be based on the same underpinnings, such as floor and suspension, as a Commodore. The Camaro will be built in a GM factory in Canada from next year, but the design and engineering work is being completed at Holden's headquarters in Port Melbourne.

That is not a Zeta Lumina. Zeta Luminas are 4 door only to my knowledge and the spy pic is a Zeta.

That is the platform the G8 is on. That same car is in the new Motor Trend as a G8 counterpart for testing purposed for the G8 not the Camaro. Don't konw what retard thought that was actually a Camaro. The car looks pretty decent though for what it is. Not a Camaro however!
