Default 2008 Camero Price.

I'm sure this has been posted a few times but does anyone know what the price of the 2008 is going to be? Even a ballpark price would be good. I told my old lady we need to start saving up for one but that may be a moot point if they are going to be asking some stupid amout.

I dont know what it is going to cost but I would wait a little while. Its gonna be marked up bad when it comes out. Look at all the hype its all ready getting, and they havent even started production.

Crawling skin? You should get that looked at. Well, if they come out in 09 then I should have no prob having the money by then. We just bought a new house so money is a bit tight right now.

Supposed to be within 900 bucks of the Mustang it is competing with. Or so I understand.

the similer equiped mustang with a V6 starts at about 19k. The GT with 300 HP starting at 26k. I read there may only be 1 V8 in the camaro which suprises me but if it goes that way they could have around 370 ish HP and be priced around 30k I would think, maybe 36k fully loaded. Unless they have a high end one around 450-550 then i would guess 36-42.

I'd have to hope that it'll be between $25,000 to $30,000. You can expect dealers are going to mark them up an extra $5,000 to $10,000 easy.

Indeed many dealers will mark the car up over sticker. I don't think they will honor any GM employee pricing. I've been told I can sell any Chevrolet at sticker. Just like the Mini, Bug, PT, T-Bird, 300, etc etc there will be folks that pay over sticker to be one of the first to have something new.

No offense to you, but thats a poor dealer, I'd just go to the next Ford dealer if I really wanted one.

Do you guys really believe that the Camaro will have a huge mark up? Maybe for the first quarter of the year, but with a 100,000 being produced (GM hopes), they won't stay like that.

It's still gonna be bad ***, cool cars don't go out of style. We better enjoy this new age muscle car era while we can, it won't last for ever.

I agree, Plus you are not going to get a 400+hp Camaro for 26,000..you're all dreamin..I say it will be priced similar to the GTO $30,000+, Then Greedy dealer markup..I can see the PT Cruiser all over again..marked the ******* way up, people were on a waiting list to get them & now you can't give them away
