The car looks fat. Portley.
I'm hoping the pic is just very unflattering. It's missing those aggressive lines that extend along the bottom through the door to the rear quarter. On the fourth-gen, I wouldn't have it any other way, but on this 5th gen, those black mirrors with no other black on the car look terrible. I'm pretty confident that's just a pre-production thing, though.

Hopefully this picture is kinda like those tabloid pictures where they take pictures of victoria secret's models when they just woke up and are getting the news paper in the morning with their eye buggers still intact.

I hope it looks better with the nose uncovered and the spoiler back on it. To me, it doesn't look as aggressive looking as the concept car did. Hope they aren't on the way to screwing this up!

-Lack of concept's sharp lines.
-wheels do it no justice.
-short and fat like a grade schooler.
-follows the crowd in terms of going retro.
-brings nothing new and exciting to my eyes.
-quarter panel vents are subdued.
-mirrors are Fugly.
-appears handling is not a remote priority for this car.
I'll keep my third gen/LQ9.

What is up with the door handles?? It just doesnt look the same.. The concept was bold and different but this is just plain and normal.. It looks good but not amazing.. It doesnt stand out as much as it did.. Hopefully this is the Base model..

I hope other's are right about this being the v6 version. I am very curious, and can't wait to see it in person but these photo's don't look so good compared to the concept. I wish they'd reveal the powerplant already.

As said on another board, by Scott (Fbodyfather), fear not, it's just a bad picture that was leaked. I'm sure it still is aggressive it's just a bad pic. I'm holding final judgment until the photos are officially released on a production model.

If thats an indication of the actual car, I see the F-body going down in flames again.
Look at the 2 other cars in the segment. The Challenger looks much better IMO, and will have some nice engines for the hot rodder. The Mustang, while not my style, looks good for what is it. Its for people that want to relive their highschool memories, but not really haul that much ***.
This thing looks bland and unattractive.
I think GM hires gray haired lady librarians to design their cars. The GTO is another bland example. I cant count how many times i thought I spotted a GTO ahead of me in traffic, then when I catch up looking for a race, I see thats its a cavalier or something.
I'll keep my catfish, thank you very much

From what I can see, it's pretty darn close, if not exactly the same... from the basic over-all shape of the concept car. You just simply can't judge it with those disguised covers along with the pic's bad angle and quality, and on top of that it's white...which gives it the illusion of being bigger. There might just be a very bright light at the end of the tunnel.
