Sorry, but when I think of the upcoming 5th gen......this is what comes to my mind: low profile, super aggressive, sharp lines. I fear the production model might lose alot of those attributes.

Fear not.

Look at the engineering cars parked next to the Mustangs. Low, aggressive, sharp and big wheels. The Camaro (like the Challenger) is going to be virtually identical to the concept.

The real surprises will be the interior and all the little details inside and out.

yeah, that looks like the picture lost its original aspect ratio or the camera sucked. It almost looks comical. But I'm glad to see the progress.

I too think it looks like a Charger somewhat, and I also think I see one piston calipers on the front brakes... Are we going back to LT1 brakes now?

EDIT: The front black bra throws off the aspect of the picture. If you follow the front of the hood, it goes way into the background of the picture, mean it will be wider than it looks in this picture, giving it a low, aggressive look.

Is it just me, or does it look a lot smaller than the concept? I like it regardless.

I like it! I can definitly picture it without the bra and look at how tall the side windows are....not very tall so it looks a lot like the concept

I agree. Going by that photo, it looks bad. It looks too tall for it's width and length. It doesn't look as low or as wide as the concept. Not really feeling the side view mirrors either. I know that the concept mirrors would have never made it to production, but the mirrors in the pic are completely different and don't flow well with the rest of the body. I really hope I'm wrong, and that it's just the angle and quality of the photo that's making it look weird.

I wish that picture with the mustangs was taken directly behind and also had a profile shot to properly compare the cars, since that angle is a bit deceiving.

We need to see some final production shots from all angles! I have high hopes for this car and hopefully GM will come through. But again, judging by that photo I'm not so sure now.

It is the masking that makes it look more vertical and the dull white paint along with poor picture and poor picture angle that take away all the looks from this pic.

I think it will look great when it is revealed.

UGLY *** wheels. This car needs a dished wheel, not that modern import-looking extruded spoke crap.

(yes I know wheels can be changed, but it'd be nice if GM gave it something cool from the factory).

Car looks wrong to me. I think the door is too flat, it needs more of a grade going both up and down fromt the peak in the center, more like the concept car. The whole side of the car just looks too flat. I hope it's just the shitty pic and plain white color giving this negative effect.

Not liking it too much right now.

i have never understood why GM wont come out with a nice Dished wheel because thats like one of the first things people change. i wish they would do that but besides that it looks good i cant wait to see what the HP. troque, and weight its going to have i hope its not like the GTO and be a 4000 pound sled but overall its not bad im still going with my corvettes!

I'll agree with a couple others, that it looks like a charger coupe, but I think a lot of it is the mask.

The new Mustang, Charger, and Camaro all share similar DNA
