In all seriousness, who cares what side its on? Better for some people who park to close and bang there door at the pump or something.
For Real.... Little things like that turn me off to the new camaro.... IM REALLY JUST PRAYING THAT THE CARS IN FL DONT LOOK LIKE THE PRODUCTION CARS!

Granted it was the best place... at least for "looks". I really prefer the ones where the license plate folds down and the gas cap is under neath it.

However.... manufacturers are reluctant to put a gas fill on the back of the cars now for safety reasons.... if you are filling up and some idiot comes slides into your car... you will be RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of the MESS. Literally.

my first car was setup like this... 83 monte... aside from the first time i took the car out and tried to put gas in it... i loved it. that first time tho... that was no good.

I honestly don't care. My first car (93 taurus) had it on the passenger side, so when I got my camaro I pulled up on the wrong side a few times

In some ways passenger side is nicer though because I never had to worry about being too close to the pump to get the door open. This one Pilot station I've gone to a couple times has a really high concrete slab the pump sits on and has these huge concrete posts at each end, such a pain.

Oh god. This is terrible news. I am completely shattered. How ever will I walk around to the passenger side to fill up my tank!? I may have to excsersize before I can drive it, just to walk around to that side of the car!

I've dinged my big *** drivers door a few times while opening it to refuel. I think it's a good idea putting it on the other side.

this is an option to reduce race weight

I like it better on the right....less lines at gas stations, 99% of cars have it on the drivers side so everybody sits in line for that particular side of the pump...meanwhile, the pump will be open for whoever has it on the right.

Actually the way we drive isn't weird, England, India, Japan, and Australia are the only major countries that drive on the left side of the road. The majority of the world drives on the right.
