I'm surprised that you guys liked the badgeless grille so much. I actually hated it, the car looked unfinished like that.

Though I think a red bowtie outline would look better than the gold bowtie. But I'd rather have the gold badge than nothing at all.

I like the bowtie. It just looks empty without something there.

The reverse lights are because of the Europeans. Same light setup the 4th gens had in the EU.

This car looks small and tight...I cannot wait to take one to some favorite back country/twisty roads.

some of the minor things people are complaing about can AND WILL be easily fixed by the aftermarket, i.e. wheels, exhaust, grill. and if the v6 & v8 will be different, hopefully the z28 will look a lil def and leave me drooling!

As its been said many times, the challenger was built on the platform the Charger/300 use so they got it out quicker...while the camaro is being built on a brand new platform. Plus GM released the concept AS a concept only...there were no production plans in 2006 unlike Dodge which had been working on the Challenger for some time...just waited to release the concept.

GM has been working REAL hard on the camaro to make sure its right and what the people want...the car will be badass unlike Dodge they ask us what we want and read the forums.

Very limited number for the 08 model year (all auto srt-8s) were made this year and shipped...mainly stars like leno got them because they are "special". Regular production started this month for the 09 models which go on sale this fall/winter.

Replace rear bumper insert with something that will house some dual/dual or rectangular tips a la 4th gen transam...

There must be something we can do with the backup lights. Fill in the others and turn the bowtie into a backup light. Make that "berger panel" one big-*** backup light. After reading "Camero"s comments on Camaro5, it makes you wonder what the original design was that got axed at the 11th hour. I would think that they would have put them in the bumper insert like the 'vettes. :/ I want to hear that story one day...

Amen, everyone seems excited about having a Camaro with a new bag of tricks, but if it's as heavy as the Challenger and priced close to the turbo BMW then GM didn't hit one out of the park, just an in park homer.

I think they should make the bottom 1/4 of the inside brake lights backup lights, tht would be a little better and clean up the bumper.

I keep imagining that the grill says 427 because it's a COPO car.

Two of the Dodge dealers here in the Dayton, Ohio area have one each! I didnt believe it myself but one dealer had it sitting on display outside next to an old Challenger!!

That does look pretty good, wonder why they didnt go with something like that? Or keep them down near the exhaust like on the concept.

Blah. Dual/dual and oval T/A tips look like ***. Round is much better. That part looks perfect as-is on the car.

YES! This is an excellent idea, and the photoshop above by SparkyJJO looks excellent. That is exactly how it should have been done.
