Exclamation Snapped - Production Camaro SS

Someone with a camera phone caught the finished, uncovered Camaro SS.

Like the Dodge Challenger it is a near carbon copy of the concept.

i thought that it said z28 too at first glance but take a closer look and it def says SS. plus, isnt the Z due for 2011 (2012 model year)?

i cant believe theres only 1 badge that says SS on the car.

It's not clear enough to tell what it says, but it looks like 3 digits (Z28) to me, not two digits (SS).

They have not yet released what model is due out when and no one knows for sure yet whether the SS or the Z28 will be the top model.

Dude, are you blind? J/K.

But honestly, I'd bet you $100 right now that it says SS.

Either way, I really love the car..... but with two exceptions:

1) The whale dick on the roof sucks. I'm not happy about it at all, but I can learn to deal with it. Or just have a really good body shop pull that bitch off and fill the hole in the roof. I would seriously consider getting that done.

2) The wheels suck so much that I'd like to change them before even taking delivery of the car. The spokes are totally flat, with zero dishing effect at all. They remind me of those gay 18" GTO wheels offered in '06. Awful.

Thank God, wheels are an easy change. I can't wait till the aftermarket starts to offer some decent wheels for this thing. The car will go from "just ok" to totally hot with some decent wheels.

I think it's the other way around.

Put some nice wheels on that 5th gen, and it'll look at least as good as any other F-body ever has.

Sunroof is optional, hardtop is standard and t-tops would be lame...

Actually the source is 5thgen.org, but we'll let that one slide. Anyways, I'm really hoping that's still not the final rear end. If they plan on leaving those trashcan lids hanging down like that, I'm gonna have to buy exhaust for the car before I actually buy the car.

That's how I feel about the wheels.

I want to have a set of CCW 550's waiting for the car before I take delivery.

Not too crazy about the reverse lights. Although, not really sure where else they could put them. Maybe implement them into the break lights?

Make me proud, GM!

its definately an SS. look at the current SS badges on other chevy's. theyre the same style of forward raking S's in chrome. i'd like to see one beside a challenger and mustang for a real pony car comparison
