What the hell people.....you have the Z28 with a Supercharger and priced at 50 to 60k........where the hell did you get that BS info???? GM has NOT released any info on power plants, on pricing, or on models for that matter. WAIT till the company who is building the car tells the public the REAL data on the 2010 Camaro.

GM will not drop the Z28 model due to name recongnition, if they did it would the stupidest move ever done in American marketing.

+1

If GM is willing to drag the Impala SS kicking and screaming in all of it's FWD, torque-steer misery, then the Z/28 is very much going to be here. Relax folks.

If they cancel the supercharged Z28 count me out as a buyer of a 5th gen. That is the car I want and am waiting for. No blower, no buy. Thank God I am building the LS7 for the SS, I had a feeling GM was going to completely **** this one up.

Now now, people!! there is only one fact! and that is no one has any concrete facts except for GM now. The reaper is not coming after the Camaro and if it does GM will be the one to tell us not some magazine article or whisper in the ear rumor. GM will tell us. Hold on tight as of now the Camaro is coming out in another feature film next year, Transformers and its going to show up as an SS on some show starring Kevin Bacon. Those are 2 positive signs that the car is coming. Relax

When did GM ever say there would be a supercharged Camaro of any model?????????? What would be wrong with a LS3 Z28 420 hp (430 hp in the Corvette) Wait till July 22 for GM to give the REAL info, stop speculating.

Wasn't speculating anything, just stating a fact. No top model with an LSA variant, no purchase from me. If they did an LS7 car, maybe I'd get one. But I don't want one with an LS3. I would look at a CTS-V, but there is a whole lot of competition to look for that car.

Unless you were told from Lutz, Scott, or Rick I highly doubt your source is correct, Unless they plan to not release the Z28 for the first year and have something special planned for it the following year....dropping it all together wont happen.

Regardless of what your source says....

The Z/28 never dies. It only sleeps until its next victim shows up!

If this is true then that new tranformer's movie is gonna confuse a lot of people, I mean isn't the bumblebee supposed to be the z28 in the second transformers?

Honestly the more I think about it the more I realize it's not too big of a deal. Maybe it's cause I'm not as die hard a fan as some of you, but remember it'll have a 400+hp n/a version, that will hopefully be priced right, that's pretty cool considering the model before was around 300hp stock, that's a good 100hp extra they are giving us with the new model. And there is still the z06 out there, idk if it would look much better in person but I really wasn't into the styling of the Z28 anyway from the picture's we got.

I'm just anxious for the info on July 22nd (particularly the weight) and to see this thing in person one day.

Powered by the LS8 engine? (per the article)

There have been a lot of rumblings about this. On one hand, I can understand them pulling the plug on it - with gas prices out of control, there is always a question of "who will buy them." On the other hand, why drop this line but not the Z06? Personally, I'm betting they drop the Z28 for the first year, and see how the car sells. Based on that, we could still see a Z28 with the LSA.

I'll wait another week and hear what Chevy says. Too much misinformation out there to belive much of anything anymore...

If everyone would read the article they would see that there is speculation that GM will not release a 500 hp Z28 model, it does not say there will not be a Z28. LS8 what the hell is an LS8????? I love when people make it up as they go along. WAIT TILL GM TELLS YOU ABOUT THE Z28 AND CAMARO, not some boob on the internet.

Slash the price on a new car? Why would this happen?

I am catching hell for posting some additional information on the Challenger's 35K Drag Package. I guess it was previously discussed with no details and incorrect pictures of the cars color.

So, let me SCOOP this. There will be factory drag package..

If everyone would stop reading stupid articles altogether we wouldn't have the same threads being started over and over about the same misinformed BS
