Z28 is dead?

Basically after seeing a below $10 per share of gm I think this a possible outcome. The article is full of bad news for the camaro. With one big unnamed gm guy wanting the death of the camaro if it doesn't sell well first year 80k quota. Super Chevy wants to here from us with save the Z28 emails. The article does say there are those inside gm doing what they can to save the Z28 even if the car is delayed. The Z28's slowest drag time they ran was a 12.4

Killing the Z28 is something that GM should NOT even think about. We have been in "fuel crisis" before, slumping economy, sky is falling scenarios. America recovers, and better than it was. We have the badest and the best here, and what better way to show it, by the cars we choose to drive, not because we are worried about bad news, economist predictions, etc.
I have owned 4 Camaros, current is a 98 Z28. I love it, plain flat and simple. I want another Z28, a new one. I have no intentions of trading this one in. I wanted to keep all the others as well, but matters in life affected that, no worries.
Key point is, I CHOOSE to drive a Z28, which does not get bad gas mileage at all and still can kick about 80% of the cars *** on the road right now! Mod her up some more and you are well in the 90% range. Keep the spirit alive, make the gas sippers and all, but I am sure if you listen to people and NOT the paper pushing economists who seem to thrive on bad news, you will find that we WANT this and WILL but it. Just look at why the Camaro came back, you had such enthusiasm for it. Give the new one a chance, put the best out there and watch what happens, I bet you will be pleasantly surprised with the outcome, like you have promised us we will be when we see the new Camaro officially unveiled in Sept.
Build it, we will buy!
