Does the torque guage make any sense?

More importantly, the tach is on the WRONG side. Everything I own/have owned has the tach on the left speedo in the middle or on the right. I like my tach and speedometer to be as close together as possible.

If there was a load sencor on the flywheel or somthing, I would be tickled. But if it's preset, an engine mod would make no changes to the reading. Is it a fact that it is preprogramed or could it work like them hp jobs that people get from jcwhitney. I think they use acceleration to compute.
