don't think they allow/offer that for the Camaro but not positive.

I know for the corvette they offer some type if thing where you tour the plant etc.
First and foremost, make sure your dealer even has allocation to order a Camaro. It should be a simple yes or no answer, either they do or don't. The local dealership that I originally ordered through kept giving me weird explanations about what allocation is and giving me the run around, but never answered the question directly. It ended up costing me over an extra month to get the car. I reordered through a different dealership, Rogers Chevrolet just south of Detroit. I worked with Becky there. She had plenty of open allocation at the time that I ordered my car. Picked it up 5 weeks from the day I ordered through them. Absolutely love it.

I originally wanted a 1SS but after test driving one I wasn't to fond of the blind spots. Along with all the leather and other bells and whistles, the 2SS also comes with blind spot monitoring which is kind of a big deal in these cars, this isn't available in a 1SS. If you can figure out a way to afford the 2SS package I definitely recommend it. Good value for the extra 5k.

Good luck with your new purchase!!

The 6G has some subtle improvements with visibility over the 5G for sure, but yes, I agree that the blind spot monitoring would be a good option for the 6G. Just really a safety issue.

Been away for a bit. Bad news

They don't have any allocations. Saying it will be late June or early July before I can order. So it's pointless.

For lots of other positive reasons im staying with this dealership. And I prefer to order my new cars.
So it looks like I'll probably just wait until spring to order. Save some more money and possibly get a 2ss.

It's also really frustrating trying to order them right now. The blade spoiler is up in the air. Same with the tinted tail lights. Some really cool accessories and packages are on the horizon as well but still up in the air at this point. Same goes for the aftermarket.
In the end I think I'll be better off waiting until next spring to order. And I really don't have much of a choice if I want to stay with this dealer.

I talked to Becky at Rodgers. She was nice but couldn't beat the deal I can get locally. Even if she could it would have to be by a lot. My current dealer is a 15 min drive. Amazing prices and service. And mod friendly. Can't ask for anything more and it's so close.

You're doing the right thing - I would wait this one out as well and end up getting exactly what I wanted, from the dealer I want to go to, with the added benefit of possibly getting more options you would like to have.
