Now i have to wait till Tuesday to find out what the insurance decides to do. Idk if they'll claim it totalled or not. Thankfully, i wasnt hurt at all. Had my seatbelt on and as far as i can remember. I really didnt move around at all, no bumps, scratches, bruises or anything.
Honestly,
I doubt if they would total it if the airbags didn't deploy during a frontal impact.
When my 99 was totaled from a "stop sign jumper", I took the car home and verified all damage. I made a list of all the parts and called multiple Chevy dealers and acquired prices on all of the large parts. The total cost of the parts would not justify repairing the car. I got more than I anticipated.
Good luck

Damn, sorry to hear. Atleast you walked away. I've put alot of time into my car, but I've had a couple of spills in it and the first thing I do is check me. The fckn thing could burn down as long as I get out of it unhurt or good enough to walk away the way I see it. It can be rebuilt.

Really?? My whole tire was gone off the rim. If it hadnt blown while i was on the side of the 18 Wheeler, i think i couldve managed to get if off the road and not hit anything or seriously damage the car.

i hate to say it dude but from the description of the wreck, i can tell you it's probably totaled. working in a body shop, i see wrecks all of the time and unfortunately the damage does not have to be bad for an insurance company to total a car.

Yeaa ive been thinkin about that. If it does come out as totaled. I guess on anotha brighter side, i can go after the car ive always liked. Which is a Trans Am or if not, there's the TBSS that im really liking now.
