Is it possible to put an LT1 camaro style steering wheel on an 02 z28? I hate the larger diameter of the 00-02 steering wheels and I really like the look/feel/size of the LT1/early LS1 steering wheels. If you can, or if there is a guide on how to do this, let me know. Thanks!

Yea, but i'm curious if the lt1 steering wheels were the exact same as the ones from 98-99. It is easier to find an lt1 steering wheel, it seems, than to find one from a 98 or 99 z28. I would love to trade straight up with someone though too, if they want to have radio controls on their steering wheel.

I looked into doing this swap recently, only the other way around (00-02 wheel in a 93-99 car). Apparently the clockspring for the airbag has to be change as well as some of the wiring. Go to camaroz28.com and search "steering" in title only in the Appearance section there, you'll find the info you need.
