Here's the original thread, for what happened....

https://ls1tech.com/forums/general-lsx-automobile-discussion/1000477-wrecked-car-early-morning.html

Now here's the pics for you guy's to see. The car has been claimed totaled by my insurance company.

The tire that blewout....

Middle piece in stock grille was painted black to help billet grille stand out more.

OUCH... that looks like it hurt. I remember reading your thread about what happened. Ugh

Tire failure... was it defective, or any signs of running something over perhaps?

Idk, i had my sister go and take the pics for me while i was at work. I would suspect i either ran something over. I was on the road for a good hour, before it blewout. If not, couldve been low?? But i really dont remember seeing the tire looking low.

Ive always wanted a WS6, just love the look of them. So hopefully i can find myself one in good shape and at a decent price, but i am looking at SS Camaro's as well. Loved the Z28 but was gonna make it look like an SS, so ill just search for an SS instead of another Z28.

That sucks man. But if you ran something over traveling on any road your front tire will obviously run over it first, at it seems the rear tire blew. That sucks, what kind of tires?

They were Cooper tires, its been the 2nd time that same rear tire has blown out. These were all new tires, well around 6 to 7 months old but new from the last blowout before.

No, really more concerned with getting a new car. Although, i wish i couldve swapped out the Ported TB for the stock one i still have, along with SS spoiler & Berger panel for the stock pieces.

That sucks man. Hopefully the store who sold you the tires didn't sell you old tires. (They have an expiration date too and it even made some headlines lately.)

Nonetheless, glad you're ok and good hunting for your next ride.

did the Tires Rub your 1/4 panel at All? Maybe you needed a Panhard bar to center the wheels.

Btw, check out my SS in the For Sale Section
