Default Further proof that ford drivers are evil!

I'm on the way to school yesterday and as I am cruising along the highway doing about 60 mph a van (big work van, not your typical econoline) going well below the speed of traffic cuts me off. I react by getting on the brakes and going to the right, i still manage to run into him cracking my bumper, fender and headlight, but luckily managing to not to do any damage that isn't cosmetic to my car.

However, during my evasive manuever i managed to luck up the rear tires on a patch of what felt like gravel and dirt and spun the car twice at 50ish and managed some how to recover and end up pointing in teh right right direction thanks to some quick reactions. So as soon as i had the car under control i didn't even bother stopped and started chasing down the guy managing to catch him and signalling for him to pull over he slows down gets behind me and then as soon as im getting into the emergency lane and im just past the point that i';d have to back up to take the exit he cuts accross the divider and goes onto the off ramp... After that i never saw the guy again!

Regardless, I'm fine, albeit not happy, but fine and the car isn't in too horrible of a shape.

If anyone finds a white ford van with a yellow bumper with some sort of pump on the back please feel free to give him his well earned beat-down.

WHY DIDN'T YOU GET TAG NUMBER? he would have been really screwed then; hit and run, fleeing the scene, etc.

That would be my guess, too. And has nothing to do with what brand of van he was driving.

Had a similar thing happen to me over the summer. Delivery truck merged into me and pushed me into the median on the highway doing 65-70... needless to say he didn't stop and my car was totaled (just my beater thank god). So I feel your pain man. Glad you're ok.

I'm sure he had no insurance, hell, i'd be surprised if he was even had a license. I would have snagged the tag but I didn't have the chance to during all the drama. I was a little shaken from going backwards and forwards and backwards again and finally forward one last time on a VERY busy 5 lane stretch of highway.

I got hit n run by some ******* in a 80's Lincoln a couple of years ago, they nailed me pulling out of a Gas Station, and I went into a spin, pulled it out of the spin, and the right rear quarter that they hit got finished off by a Telephone Pole. I was very lucky to walk-away from it, and I almost actually ended up in a Rally's. There was a little hill there that I ramped off of after making contact with the Pole, and I literally landed in the parking lot and skidded to a stop about 4 ft from the front door of the Rally's. Scared the **** out of the girl walking out the Door at the time, I'm very thankful that I didn't hit her.

Needless to say I was fckn pissed..the douche took off up the highway.

thats at least 2 or 3 grand worth of damage to your car. If you report it, your insurance is prolly going to go up, since there is no proof it was due to another guy. lesson learned is, always get the tag!

Miami? Yeah probably got hit by a illegal. That sucks, I'd file a police report or something. It was still a hit and run regardless.

I'm not gonna bother with a police report or claiming it to the unsurance. Just gonna hike up my rates, i'll be damned if the police down here do anything right.

Says the Ford owner.

But yea, good thing you didn't end up getting hit my someone else why you were spinning. You could probably fix that for $500 or so if you do your own work...
