Default Urgent Questions

Ok, swapped the ls6 mani and used the front coolant pipe and 2 plugs for the rear. Well now the rears are leaking.... so...

Can the fuel rails be taken off with the intake still in the car?

and

Can you get to the coolant plugs in the back without taking the intake off?

Thanks alot for anyones help.

Yes


Can you get to the coolant plugs in the back without taking the intake off?
Possible but would be easier to yank the intake

I wouldn't try to get to the coolant plugs with it on. It's impossible to see so you'd have to do it all by feel that way. Plus they're soo small that if you drop one or both and it doesn't fall on the ground you'll be hating the world. Just take the intake off. It takes 5 minutes and if its leaking then you need to get your hands on one of those nice little $6 coolant line gaskets from the dealer.

Five minutes? i must be doing something wrong, without breaking the oil pressure sender and with 2 people it took me over an hour, then trying to hook everything back up. Any part number on these gaskets? Didnt know they made some for it.
