where can i get tensioner

Default where can i get tensioner

where can i get the top tensioner one for the a/c on for a ls1?

Where can i get just the pully for it?

I just tryed to go to napa to buy it but they were saying its a whole assembley its the one for the ac all i need is the pully because the bearing is bad where can i buy it at?

GM parts dealership should be able to get one.

i asked them they tried to sell me the top tesnioner for like 90 bucks. i found out its the idler pully where can i buy one at?

Just find the part # and order only that part.

just replace or repack that bearing only.1. remove dust cover 2. pack with grease 3. reinstall dust shield. 4. reinstall pulley 5. save alot of time running around and money.

i cant repack it with grease the bearing it shot it was past sqeaking it was scraping. i just wnat to know where i can get the idler pully for the ac. every other place is trying to sell it with a tensionr i just need the pully thats all nothing more nothing less

then go to napa and get either the bearing or the pulley. I think the serp and ac idler are the same. I would have to check later. I will find out after work, a friend works at napa.

Ok but what your not understanding is i did go to napa they only have one pully with groves on the top which is not the right one or one with a tensinoer which all i need is the pully no sense on buying it with the tensioner and all just for the pully.

Advance auto has idler pulleys, that's where I got mine.

well i just went on advance auto site and the only one that comes up is the one for the power steering and alt side i need the one for the ac side.

Dude, we have a sponsor that sells them. RevXtreme or something that sells a idler pulley.

We have a billet replacement with higher outer lips to help prevent belt loss at high RPM's, and it has a HD sealed bearing pressed in already. $69.

Also have alt pulley's in overdrive size.
