Fast 92/92 or 3600 stall?
I am buying another mod for my car soon and I am trying to choose between these two. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on which way I should go. I already have an 85mm ftp lid, slp 85mm maf, hooker 1 3/4 lts and 3" ory and flowmaster cb. My car is my dd, so I don't want to mess with the drivability very much. I am also considering some 3.73s to go with the stall. I am looking for the best bang for my buck, and I am almost certain that a stall and gears is going to be it. Any feedback will help alot guys. Thanks.

if you don't have a cam or a heads and cam package then most likely you would lose power down low but gain up top but not as much as the H/C guys gain.
so get a stall and save up for a H/C set up

yeah that's what I am thinking. I would get the best gains out of it. I was also wondering about maybe a cam and stall. But I already made another post about that so it's cool.

Circle D 3600 stall and 3.73s. Now I just need to find a place to get some gears and I will be good. Texas Speed has the gears for the series 2 carrier, just that they cost like 400$ or more just for the gears.

Stall without a question. I bought my gears (for two series carrier) from Summit racing. I paid like 120.00. I think they went up a little. From what I understand, they actual use either motive or richmond gears and sell them under their name. I have had zero issues with them. There is a faint wine sound from them but you really have to listen for it. Definately can't hear it with the cut out open.

Good choice. Two things never never to skimp on; a stall converter and cylinder heads. Both are critical to good performance. Make sure to do some research and pick a brand with proven results and quality. You get what you pay for when it comes to those two parts.
