it usaully on goes up a 100-200 rpm from drive to park or neutral

550 in drive. first tune took it to 600. after cam it went to 700 or it wouldn't stay running when coming to a stop. so 700 now.

Usually right at 500, if not just a hair more.

Mine is about 650-700 in park or neutral, in gear it goes up to about 1000

cam is a 230/224 comp xe 111+3, stock stall

Is it 800 verified by a scan tool or are you going by the dash tach? Because the dash tach is not exact. I've got mine set at 750, because at 550 idle with the cooling fans on the battery gauge dipped close to yellow.

Yea the tachs can be off Mine says 1100 but HP tuners says 950ish..

im running the MTI X1 230/227 and my car idles around 900rpm or so!!

Mine looks like about 800/750 on the stock tach, internal engine still all stock.

that is odd. do you have a tune?

i'm going by the tach but i should hook the scanner up to it and see what its idling at. I'll do it tomorrow and let u guys know what the results are.

Well i got bored tonight and i just hooked the scanner up to my car and foundout that my tach is anywhere's from 200-250rpms off. So my car isn't retarded after all. I can't believe my tach is off that much. Mad gay if i might say! Should of did that before i posted this thread. I would have answer my own ?. Looks like i'm the retart here HAHA LOL

500-550 rpm's on my 2001 Z28 in drive. The 1998 tach's are known to be less accurate than the later model's.
