Throw a 100 shot on there. That should help out a bit!

But, if they are Whippled or have a KB, you will probably need more than a cam/100 shot. If you have a 6spd and add heads and a 100 shot you should be around the 550 mark. That will keep you right there with a small blower cobra. Most Cobras with aftermarket blowers are making around the 600rwhp mark for low numbers and on up from there. Depending on blower setup. If you run into a turbo Cobra...well...good luck!

I don't foresee too much trouble with them this coming season. See sig!
But seriously those things are so easy to mod for big power.
I wouldn't even expect to come close to seeing their taillights unless at minimum do a quality heads like afr 205, decent cam and some good long tubes and all bolt ons and then a 100 to 150 shot on top of that.
That should make things a lot closer.
Or go FI with procharger or turbos . A nice sts setup could do pretty good against a lot of them. Full forged engines of course if you really want to take up the power also.
And if you really want to hurt them then more displacement plus FI is always a good way to do it.
And I have not dynoed yet to see how close can come to my plate but expect to get close to 800rwhp with auto with the built 408,twin snails and zex kit putting out a 100 or so shot if need be. Thats about 1000 engine hp. Not that many terminators are doing that kind of power and turbos will usually win over a blower car depending on things like traction and stuff as they are awesome for area under the curve. Course the new twin screws are very powerful down low and thru the range even up higher so still could find some good races against those type of supers.

With a cam and a 150 shot you wont have a problem with them anymore. That is if you can drive worth a ****, if not then you need t o practice, lol.

I pulled a car on the one I raced but I dunno what/if he had done anything as he turned off and never stopped to talk. He jumped as I was pulling up next to him and got a car on me and I pulled back even in a 60-130 race.

I wanna say heads/cam is usually a good drivers race for a 2.8 pullied Cobra. I could be wrong though, don't know too much about em. All the ones here with the 2.8's seem to be making around 460rwhp, fwiw.

Then add you some nitrous and you should be ahead for sure, assuming you can drive, lol.

heads + cam + gears will make a good race, depending on how optimized your setup, may be in your favor. 100 shot should be extra insurance.
