I'm dropping the motor on my *** and I'm going out the bottom. I don't have a lift and I was trying to think of something with wheels to put under the K-member since my jacks will be in use. I found a nice furniture cart...but the max load is 1200...which i'm pretty sure if I take the tranny out first the motor/ front suspension should be less than 1200. Let me know for sure though guys

All the front stuff should not come out to 1200, maybe more like 800 or so. IMO, after doing it both ways, without a lift it is way easier from the top. If you do decide to drop the K, make double triple sure that the brake lines are disconnected and out of the stupid plastic holder thing, mine broke because they got hung up on that.

i dropped mine from the bottom in my garage cause i didn't have the lux of a lift or an engine hoist ... but that should be more than enough to support the k member and engine , just get the car as high as possible and go slow make sure everything is disconnected ! yeah it did suck but what are you going to do LOL
good luck
