its 2009 happy new year, 7 years since last production and still the most badass cars ever!!!

i cant belive their that old. . . . .i'm glad to be finally getting out of the ltx platform *since i sold my car* and hopefully into the lsx platform this year. . . .finally 7 years later.

It is incredibly hard to believe and I agree about the looks. How many 7+ year old cars have the WOW factor. Not many.... and this is a great reminder to change all the original fluids and filters if some haven't been changed yet. I keep reading about some posters whose fuel filters have never been changed. They will break down over time as will the fluids, even on low mileage cars. The Dexcool is only designed to last 5 years and no one should be running brake fluid that is so old, due to moisture condensation at the very least. Keep up the maintenance and you can own the car for another 7+ years.

My '02 Z is 7 years old now.

What seems even harder to beleive is that my '98 Z, the first of the LS1 F-bodies, is now 11 years old. Crazy that they've been out so long now, and yet still perform so well compared to many other stock new cars.
