Does anyone else think the stock 16" wheels on T/A are hideous

nothing wrong with stocks (chrome). they arent huge but since when do muscle cars need large rims like imports? imo big tires like stock look fine. now the gap is horrible. these cars should have come an inch lower from factory.

yes, they are hideous...they look very "sissy" like they belong on a grand am or something
they don't fit the look of a trans am at all, in fact the only halfway decent looking 4th gen wheels were the camaro SS split spokes from the later years...all the rest are absolutely terrible and RUIN the look of the cars

How the hell can anyone call that look a "sissy" one?
What are F cars supposed to have, 24" rims with spinners on 'em?
Opinions are like...Well, as far as I'm concerned, outside of stock rims on F cars just about everything else looks tacked on and out of place; Torq thrust style, Z06, whatever. There's nothing wrong with the stockers...

the spokes are too rounded, the center section is too large and blob like, there's no lip whatsoever, and I hate chrome
the 4th gen ram air T/A is one of the most aggressive looking cars to roll out of a plant and they put those bland things on it...it's like dressing up a medieval warrior carrying a 200lb battle axe and then tossing him a pair of sneakers
every time I see them I wonder why GM stole wheels from an Oldsmodbile Alero/ Pontiac Grand AM/ 95 Mustang GT to toss on a muscle car, because those are 3 cars that style seems to "fit" on
I don't care for z06, zr1, or other stock wheels either...but there are several very very nice aftermarket wheels that look flat out amazing on them
and no one said anything about 24"s anyone who puts anything larger than 18s on needs a kick in the groin

I agree with the lip part and think the stockers would look way better with a lip otherwise i think they look fine. Don`t get me wrong though if i had the money to get different rims i would in a heart beat just because rims set off a vehicle so much. I need me some black with chrome lip TT 2`s anyone wanna make some donations to my broke ***. lol.

The stock chromes, imo, could be better, but there are a lot of cars out there with uglier stock rims. There are a lot of nice stock rims out there today, but you have to look at what was out in the market in the era of our cars.
