Damn I'm going to have to start hanging around you. Good deals hunt your *** down!
If all that's wrong is the short block, you scored with that Firebird. It looks real clean. As far as the 5.0 is concerned, the black coupes are my favorites. Put mine on some 17" Pony replicas with a stroked 351 under the hood.

sounds like a cool ride .. and yes the motor just seized and i have a spare 02 vette motor sitting in my garage i was gona use for an other rx7 build ..
so if everything goes well ill have it running asap .
my coupe is just a 306 with aftermarket pistons and edelbrok everything else long tubes some suspesion and a k member as well as a everything under the hood delete .oh and lil bit of bottle and tranny work .
so this years plan is for the mustang to run a few mid 11s times the trans am maybe low 12s high 11s on the bottle and for the built lsx rx7s ... well i dnt care what it runs , it could run mid 15s as long as it traps 150mph =) .. and im also gona take all 3 cars on the same day to the local race track .. should be fun !!
