I know this is a stupid topic, but i'm bored at work and was just thinking about this...
I was just making an observation of all the camaro owners i know, they love their car, but would have no problem trading it in for a better car or newer car.
All the firebird(mainly trans am/ws6) owners i know think their car is the best car out there.
Not saying one car is better than the other, but does anyone else seem to notice firebird owners are more hardcore?
I'm probably going to get flamed...lol

The Firebird is just a knock off of the Camaro eventhough i do not have anything against them and they still are as nice as any Camaro.

I love my 'bird. its the second formula i have owned-- first was a 99 second is an 01 formula 'hawk. i have also owned 2 z28's-- although i do love them also, the ride quality of the birds blow the zcars away! i had to have another dumdumdumdumdum after i sold my first, so when the 'baby' turned 4 i found this hawk and had to have it.so.........all in all, we are all of the same breed, just some are more refined than others! ha ha just jokin! its just a matter of comfort. camaro's tend to be a skeech faster out of the box, but the firebirds are way more comfy. just a personal observation.

Just look at the bodies, IMO. The Trans Am's got more aggresive curves. The 98+ camaros look like Chrysler Sebrings from the front with the headlights. The 93-97s are just as aggressive looking as a 2000 T/A WS6.

In short, they're both aggressive and badass, you just have to compare different styles

I love both just tend to like Camaros more... I think its the the flare of the trans ams... it gets old too me when I look at firebirds it over and over it just seems like they tried too hard. Although Firehawks are effin sexy!! Formula firehawks I hate the trans am spoiler.

Just to clarify, i'm not comparing the cars...basically the same car, just making an observation of the owners, not trying to start a war or anything, hehe

Oh, well if its the drivers you questioned about...

I say T/A drivers know what they're capable of and strut their stuff whenever possible.

Camaro drivers don't talk as much, but they'll shut you up right quick!

i luv the camaro. Out of the box from facotry many ppl that tested both said the firebird was a tad faster. but o well i luv my camaro and luv both cars

the firebirds have more exotic curves that make it stand out, the camaro does not. some people like the plainer look of the camaro which is fine, but that is why more people are going to like their birds more than say a corvette than camaro owners.

also, the standard interior for trans ams is better than what many camaros have. the formulas dont either have those standards either but they are more rare. and im fairly sure the leather camaro seats arent as nice as the t/a's either. so v8 birds will be more comfortable and nicer than the camaros. a lot of camaro owners complain about their seats. i liked the family grand am gt until driving daily and then even from city driving i started to hate it just because of the seats.

I wouldn't say the trans am/ws6 is the best car out there. I love my bird, but my parents KIA is "nicer" than it. I like the camaros too, just prefer the look of a ws6.

Hell, i think my vipers interior is nicer then any f-body interior. Need to find a way to transplant everything haha

^ or just daily drive the viper. granted i've never ridden in one so i dont know how harsh the ride is.

exactly my opinion. i like the plainer look of the firehawks without the lower ground effects also

The ride SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! But never have i took a car to 180 and it feel safe haha This thing is a beast up top. VERY stable
