C5 Z06 for sure, and they're getting cheaper! GTO's are ridiculously heavy and look like every other honda, toyota, ford, dodge "sport" sedan on the road today! I remember racing a 6.0 bolt-on GTO with my friends '99 bolt-on SS Camaro, and we beat the GTO every single time!

I stand corrected, i called the insurance agency today and the c5 z06 was 100 dollars cheaper!!! I think I might just have to get the c5 z06. Im going big on this one

The quotes were when I was 25. I can insure a C6 Z06 for about the same as my GTO, but that is just due to the cheap insurance rates for corvettes.

And driving your 350+ rwhp sleeper lsx powered car by cops doing 80-85 mph and them not paying attention to you, is a great feeling. That is part of why I bought a silver GTO, I drive too much to worry about cops and they don't see this car.

If your a student watch out parking that around your campus, college kids will **** up your car no doubt about it from jealousy. The GTO would not stand out as much as a target for drunken idiots. People will open doors into it, key it, accidentally parallel park into it Ive seen it all. Why just today I came out to go to work and I find my just washed DD camaro covered in loogies. Great.

Ya I know what you mean even the new mustang attracts alot of unwanted drunken attention. Someone keyed it freshman year. Most likely I will park it at my girls house off campus.

I say definitely go with the Z06. If you don't get the corvette because you really need extra room, I'd go with a caddy. I'm a bit biased though.

Ya I was originally set on a GTO but now after some consideration I think Im gonna go with the Z. Four seats would be nice but I want a race car that handles like a dream.
