Do a tune up like everyone said. Change that fuel filter too.

My 500+ HP 402ci. gets 12.5 city. I've been on one trip about 100 miles and got 22 mpg hwy with my 6spd.

I would check for a hole in your fuel lines or gas tank. Also your o2 sensors are probably toast, if your tune is running in closed loop I would check your o2's. They control your part throttle cruising air fuel ratio, they will have the biggest affect on your fuel mileage.

its totally worth it...

if you keep it at or under 60mph its not that bad... anything over that slaughters MPG with 410s in an a4..

at 60 im right at 2200rpms, which isnt bad... at 70 im at like 2600-2700...

You could worry about it and do all of that... or you could just tell yourself your car really gets 100+mpg and you just have a hole in the tank...

I wouldnt worry too much about it. My stock engine got 12mpg in town, but on the highway I would get 28-32mpg. It's all in how you drive, step on it once and the mpg goes downhill quick.

Hell yea, I figured it out when I got the car and stock (the way I drive an m6) I was getting around 15. Since then I just try not to think about it... I'd hate to know what I'm getting now, so I don't bother calculating it.

what buggs me the most about modding is the range you lose. money isnt that big of an issue for me, i dont like going 3 days in between fill ups lol

Something definitely isn't right here. I'm pretty well modded and still manage 10 - 11 in the city and can get 18+ on the highway with 3.90's in the rear.

theres no way i would try to tune it myself.. not with that size cam.. i know some people who have used hptuners with it... but dont know how their luck went...
if i were you as soon as you get the 300 bucks or whatever tuners charge in your are (a good one) get them to dynotune it.. i love my cam, because of my tuner..
