Awesome swap and a great car for sure, but one thing I don't understand is swapping an LSX into another domestic, particularly another muscle car. I mean, I understand wanting to swap an LSX into, let's say, an RX-7 because who wouldn't rather have an LSX in there rather than the turbo/rotary deal. But for a Mustang, why not just build up a Ford motor and call it a day? Why the need for the swap? Or is it just to be able to say "I have an LSX in my Mustang?"

the LSX is one of the best designed, best performing motors ever built, the notch back fox body mustang is one of the lightest domestic bodys out there, put the two together and you have a killer combo.
me personally i would rather have a domestic body with an LSX then an import with an LSX.

^ agreed. and id much rather have the turbo/rotary, in a rx7. heart of the car. plus 3 rotors are beastly.

ive have all 3 and 2 of the 3 are already lsx equiped ...
maybe the notch will too . but ford motors are sooo dirt cheap and they play nice with nitrous !!
