I love my T-tops. I've been using them almost every day now that the weather has been perfect in the 70's. But my car is also black, so they do blend in. I guess part of it is that I always think of Smokey and the Bandit with the T-tops on the black T/A. I guess that's my first attraction to the T/A's.

As far as issues, I have none. It hardly leaks. Sometimes if it rains hard, I'll get a drop or two on my pant leg, but that's it. Not like a downpour like I was expecting before I got the car. I've never once heard a squeak either. Actually there are no squeaks in my car at all. Not bad for 129k miles. But I do have SFC's. I think that helps, A LOT.

i have hardtop, but i wouldn't mind t-tops, especially since i don't use a/c. i'd rather get a t-top car, but it wouldn't be a big deciding factor.

i couldnt imagine my car without t tops it makes it so much more enjoyable for those nice days and summer nights. as for the people that said they hate how it gets hot when the sun shines in when there on. thats what they make t top shades with them on not a once of sunlight comes in

HHMMM, I must have really lucked out. My 2000 WS6 has t-tops, no leaks, no noises even when its cold, no sun comes in, I have the matching interior color inserts, and they have never popped out. I hardly take them off but when I do its SSOOO fun. My wife and I will stick our hands out in the summer like its a roller coaster.

I found my SS hardtop by luck. I really wanted one because I have a Jeep Wrangler for winter that leaks and whistles. I am very glad I found the hardtop though, so much simpler, rarer, and just another surface I can wax! You won't be dissapointed.

when i bought my car, these were my preferances in order
1- t-tops
2- black
3- stick shift
4- leather

if i had to, i would rather have a t/a t-top than a ws6 hardtop, even if the ws6 was cheaper.

My car was a hard top for around 4 years from the time I bought it. Every freaking nice day sucked because I couldnt really enjoy it, and let me tell you there are alot of nice days here.
6LE cut my ttops in and my lord I swear I will never buy another hard top, of any type of car if I have the option.
Ive had the ttops for a while now and no regrets. No leaks and its just so nice to be able to take em out on a nice day!
T-Tops for the MFing win.

EDIT: I regret getting a 6 speed though!

I've had both, I love the t-tops especially when working on the interior its much easier to get **** in and out of the car but you don't work on the interior that often, and in summer time the t-tops are awesome but its nothing special enough to where you shouldn't buy a hard top, I loved my hardtop but that was before I ever had t-tops so who knows now id probably miss them.

Hardtop dumdumdum...they are lighter and look better imo.
Wouldn't have it any other way, i passed up about 5 clean *** f-bodys over a 3 yr. period in hopes to find one and i finally did.

I occasionally get a little water inside of mine when I bust the pressure washer out and it's a damn hard top!

I had and would go with a hardtop again if I was in the market. I did want T-tops at first, but hardtops just have a more hardcore image to them.

Just bought my first f-body and t-tops were a must. I have had it for 5 days. Of those 5 days, I have had the t-tops off 4 of them. The other day it rained and there were no leaks. I am sure it will get old taking them on and off and the number will drop to maybe once or twice a week on the weekends, but I like to have the option.
